1. Regularly check you and your child's hair for nits.

2. Use a preventive shampoo to deter headlice "moving in".

3. Comb hair through with a nit comb using a preventive conditioner or massage oil blend everytime you shower or bath.

4. Tie long hair back.

5. Let other parents know if you have visitors so that they can be on guard and check for head lice and nits too.
